Hey, hey! I’m Erika Armstrong. I am a licensed, fully self-sufficient tattoo artist, award-winning custom painter, and airbrush realist.
For over two decades, my elite multidisciplinary background has been my ultimate edge. My mastery of custom automotive paint and airbrushing directly drives my skin art—giving me an advanced command of anatomical flow, complex color theory, and flawless line work that sets my portfolio apart.
Tattooing is a serious trade, and I treat the chair as a master craftsman's bench. My work is defined by high-vibrance color, striking contrast, and an uncompromising dedication to technical excellence. Stylistically, I fuse the bold, dynamic energy of cartoon, caricature, and comic art with deep inspiration drawn from the history of the Elizabethan and Tudor eras. Beyond the art, I bring an impeccable work ethic and a massive, loyal cross-over clientele of automotive and motorcycle collectors who value precision, dedication, and premium execution.
Currently based in the UK as a full colour artist at The Iron Quill Gillingham, South East UK.
Most days you’ll find me fully immersed in a project, hands covered in ink or candy paint. I’m an all-round creative and specialised caricature colour artist who can transform a blank canvas, a piece of skin, or a classic vehicle into something that stops people in their tracks. From realism and caricature to Chicano, pet portraiture, neo-traditional, Americana, Casino/Highroller themes and classic Pin-up — if it can take ink or paint, I’ve spent the last 20 years mastering it.
Alongside the commissions, I created the Chidragons — a magical little breed that is part Chihuahua, part baby dragon. Each one carries a special connection and gently helps guide our furbabies over the Rainbow Bridge. In a pocket of stars where the moonlight is mild,

Pet tributes are a particular passion of mine. Losing a furbaby is one of the hardest experiences, and I understand that deeply. RIP my Diego, my special little boy who now resides on the other side with all the crossed-over hearts, keeping watch with the Chidragons.
